Malie Kelly, who was born and raised in South Africa is a household
name that is known, heard and seen in the homes of millions of people of
all colors, races and creeds throughout South Africa. She has won the hearts
of her nation as she has not only been a voice in the Nation but a voice
of the Nation. Malie has taken a powerful and bold stand for Jesus Christ
on the secular stage, whether before its presidents and leaders, on television
as a host of several programs, or as main vocalist at the live television
broadcast of Miss World Beauty Pageant with a live viewership of 800 million
people worldwide. She also appeared with Grammy Award winner Larnell Harris
on his South African tour. She had the awesome honor and privilege to be
the key presenter for the historic opening of Christian Television in South
Africa. More than all these accomplishments, however, she has a voice that
carries into the world the awesome power of our almighty God with a passion
for Him that is explosive and has a love for His presence that is immeasurable.
Goals: Her desire is to bring the good news message of hope to
the nations and to cut through denominational and racial barriers.
Background: Ashley and Malie attended bible school at Rhema
South Africa then served under Pastor Ray McCauley, senior pastor of Rhema
in South Africa. Although they still consider Rhema their home, they now
live in Rockwall, Texas and their second home is with City Church in Dallas
(previously named Church on the Rock) pastored by Mike and Vicki Hankins.
They are now in the full-time ministry traveling the globe ministering
in crusades, churches and conferences. Malie has sung at international
conferences including TBN with many many world renowned speakers. She has
sung at T.D. Jakes' Church and around the globe with Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne.
